Archies 8.5 months now and he keeps shoving most of his head in his water bowl and then blows bubbles while he is drinking!!

Is this normal, does anyone elses dogs do this????

dont know about it being normal be he sure seems to be enjoying himself . I thought this thread was going to be about thoses dog bubbles that you can get that smell of bacon

sometimes he puts his food in his water bowl and then blows bubbles when fishing it out, but hes now doing it with no food in there.

I think we need a video of it - just for research purposes

mine put their heads in two large plant pots that we fill with water for them, but i don't think they blow bubbles tho, must be funny

Milo breathes out when he puts his head underwater at the river or ponds when getting his toys so he doesn't get water up his nose and choke. We get stupid dogs that don't bother and come out the water coughing and spluttering!! Archie is just clever and doesn't want water going up his nose! Why he's got his head in the bowl in the first place I don't know!
