My teacher's dog at college is apparently a working springer spaniel, and I thought it was a working cocker at first (she's tiny, looks like Ollie and is very slight, got the worker face) and she's BLUE ROAN. Got a right surprise when they said she was a working springer. but springers only come in black and white or brown and white, not roans. she could be a sprocker but really didn't look like one.

I have heard of it before but it's unsual to come by, I think it's classed as a fault/throw back? it does only come from the working side though, it's never been seen in the show.

I'm trying to find some pics but not having any luck, must look nice though

You can get them according to sites on google i dont think its very commen and by the looks of it more american colour then a colour over here

Dont think it will be a springer.

in the 2o odd years of my life with my whole family breeding and working springers i have never come across a colour other then l/w, b/w and sometimes with the tan

Its more american i imagine its down to breeding a blue roan cocker into the pedigree at some point
