Re: more advice needed

We handle ours from day one but some bitches can be a bit funny about human contact regarding there pups.
We had a bitch that wouldn't let me or the O/H anywhere near her pups till they were around 3 weeks old.

A good book you might want to get hold of is the book of the bitchby J.M Evans & Kay White.

as long as the mother is happy with you being around her and the puppies, i dont see any reasons why you cant handle them straight away. all pups need to be handled asap so that they are very well socialised with people.

i also agree, the book of the bitch is very good, i used it when i was at college to help me with my breeding assignments. amazon sell it for a great price.
