I mentioned before that we went to see some pups on Monday and the owner is on holiday till wednesday next week but there is a young girl who is supposed to be looking after things while she is away. When we went we asked her tons of questions and she didnt know any of the answers to them and said she would get in touch with the owner and let me know. Well i have chased her every other day to find out anything as she has a habi of saying i'll let you know then doesnt. I contacted her yesterday and she said that she had spoken to the owner but she hadnt said anything about the questions i had asked, then told me she was going to pass my number on to someone and she would get back to me, obviously she still hasnt got back to me and now i am sick of waiting for answers. A lady i know is going there today as she runs a training club there and she said she would have a look at the pups for me but she tends to forget so probably will lol.

What should i do? I dont want to give up cause the pup was so lovely when he was with the rest of the pups but i dont want to get to wednesday and be told he was sold to someone all because someone else got there and put a deposit down without getting the info i want or if he is still available be told to take him straight away as i wouldnt have got everything ready for him. He is already 10 weeks old (approximately, another thing the girl couldnt say for definate) so is getting quite big and he needs socialising as soon as possible from what i can tell.

Its a differcult one, is there no other puppys you can find?

There are but they are not registered or anything, although i have emailed one person who has some but they havent put much information about them so i am waiting for that.
All the registered ones that are available start going to far away to travel to really.

There is one person i really wish had some pups but unfortunately there wont be any available till towards the end of the year

I know the feelingg i am waiting for dogs for the disabled

Thats a shame, it does seem odd though for the breeder to go away while they are trying to home the puppys.

Thats what i thought. But maybe she thought this girl was capable of looking after things :S how wrong was that!

What breed are you looking for ?

Have you tried the breed clubs,they usually know where there are litters available or litters due.

I am looking for a white GSD.

The lady who was going to see him today has got back to me and said he is a lovely boy and was a bit nervous at first but was fine after a few mins and he played with a ball and stuff so that was good. I have to hope that someone else doesnt get the deposit down on him now before the owner gets back from their holiday on wednesday.

Please think about this - is waiting til the end of the year such a hardship if it gives you the dogs you want, from the breeder you trust?????? This dog is going to be with you, hopefully, for the next fifteen years so why not have exactly what you want This isnt aimed entirely at you but society today seems to be a 'must have it now'!!!
