There are loads of puppy scammers out their and giving out a deposit and the seller dissapearing unfortunately happens sometimes.
I would not entertain paying a deposit without viewing, and even after viewing being very careful with your hard earned. Take a look elswhere in your local newspaper or one of the puppy classifieds websites to see your other alternatives.

im a breeder myself and i cant believe they would ask for a deposit upfont before a veiwing. what happens if the pup you view isnt quite what your looking for? sounds like a scam to me. and how would you give them money before veiwing? you got to meet them to hand over cash surely! give these "breeders" a wide berth.
