Re: How many times a day do you walk your dogs

I walk Ollie twice a day.

1 hour each so two hours total with 30 mins of that off lead.

I walk him to the park and in the park, and then the other walk in around the streets.

Re: How many times a day do you walk your dogs

30 mins in morning to local tiny park, at least 1 hour in the afternoon to the big park and then an hour at night around the city or up 'Arthurs Seat' in Edinburgh. Her recall has just become good enough to get of in the big park but she only gets of if there are other sensible dogs there as she still tends to chase the birds unless theres other dogs there

Re: How many times a day do you walk your dogs

Mine do get quite a few walks a day...

40mins at 7 am, mostly on lead.

30mins just before or after lunch, half sent off lead

1-2 hours at 5pm in the field with various other dogs, fetching, agility etc

40 mins-1hr at 8pm mostly onlead with 15minsrunning about

10 mins at 11pm round the edge of the villge

Also on weekends instead of the field they get a 3hr walk up the forest.

Re: How many times a day do you walk your dogs

we take millie to a park on a morning where she gets to run after her ball and play with her doggy friends

and her night time walk is in a dene,or quarry or along the riverside, where she can use her nose

her afternoon walk can be either of these or even the beach

Re: How many times a day do you walk your dogs

i walk my dogs once for 30 minutes. I think Mika is gettng stronger and he's getting older and i would love to take him out for 2 walks a day but Dante is getting a bit on the old side and his body can't manage 2 walks a day. And i can't separate these boys, its not fair on Dante being left behind. But i take him out to our beautiful park close to my home

Here are some pics which i just found of my park off Google.

Re: How many times a day do you walk your dogs

For Breakfast , dinner and tea they get an hour each time , on a huge field less than a minutes walk from my house

and if I fancy a walk after supper , then they get a trot round the village then too

plus they all get a 15 - 30 min one-on-one training session away from the house every day

Re: How many times a day do you walk your dogs

3 times a day

Big dogs get a walk round block mid morning, a run in meadows early evening and a run off lead before bed around the block

Pups get a walk round block mid morning, 15 minute run in the meadows early evening and a walk around the block before bed.

Re: How many times a day do you walk your dogs

I take him to lots of different places and we go twice a day, the morning walk we walk for about 45 mins then he meets up with a 'gang' of dogs and the fun really starts then, they play together for another hour till they are all tired If we don't meet the other pack members then he usually just goes for a longer walk. He has a shorter walk at teatime for about half an hour but I am slowly lengthening that as he gets older.
