Re: Christmas gifts for dogs!!

I wait because alot of the rescues do auctions which means it's win win, I get nice gifts for the dogs and the rescues get donations.
This year I'm on a serious budget though so my dogs will not be getting anything (seriously there isn't anything they actually need!!) so I can give what little spare cash I can to help out the less fortunate dogs.

Maybe worth thinking about making up a parcel for a dog at your local rescue to give in the name of your lucky pampered pooch? Certainly gives me a good feeling when I do it?

Oh and the other thing to look out for is Wilko's and those sorts of places after Xmas massively reduce the pet gift pack prices, I usually save £10 and then go and buy as many as I can to give to rescue. Lets be honest the dogs don't care if their pressie comes after Xmas day now do they???

I think I can let you off, you've certainly done your far share for rescues with your lot!

Well done pursuading your auntie, sadly I know she'll be spoilt for choice but I'm sure she'll find her perfect dog. We've just rehomed the most beautiful little girlie staffie I've ever seen, she had a smile that would brighten the world and just the sweetest most gentle creature I've ever met!! I'd challenge anyone to have not fallen for her, had trouble getting her out of the vets because he wanted to keep her!! He said she woke up from the anesthetic (after being spayed) and first thing she did was give the nurse the biggest kiss!!
