Ah - I've just sent husband out to try and find a comfy collar!! The only place locally I know that might have them though is out of stock so I don't think we will get one!!

Charlie has been crying most of the night and is still crying, I've tried boys boxer shorts on him and he didn't like that, I'll try a t-shirt in a minute!! I feel so sorry for him - we went in the garden with him and he tried to scoot on his bottom on the patio, boy he yelped!!

Re: Castration

Hiya

I am a student vet nurse. You should keep him on his lead until the stitches are out coz if they start to some away or they come out he will probably have to be re-stitched and really isnt worth the hassle for you or him. Make sure you put a buster collar on him aswel if he is licking his stitches as this will stop them healing.
I bet its hard to keep him quiet and they do recover really quickly from the anaesthetic. if you dont like the buster collar you could always put a jumper on him. I put a babygrow on my cavalier to stop her licking her stitches wen she was spayed. It works
Hope those stitches stay put
