Does anyone work and have a dog?

I would like to know if anyone here works full time but has a dog?

I also don't want any speculation/this to turn into an argument.

Re: Does anyone work and have a dog?

I worked and had a dog, well a puppy to be precise.

I am the disaster story so mybe not what you want to hear but i will post for balance and without causing any offence i hope

She DID have severe seperation anxiety.

Ate the house, peed & Pood everywhere and was very unhappy.

We had a dog walker but it still didn't work.

I know lots of people it has worked for but not with a pup.

My mum worked full time and our old springer was absolutely fine.

You might be lucky, and i do think it is luck wether you get a dog with the rght temperament to be left and good enough bladder control.

I think researching different breeds is a step in the right direction as some are better than others but even then it's no guarentee.

Hope it works out for you
