Have you had this scenario too? People come to see the pups; you vet them as potential owners; they go home to make their decision; they ring up to say they've decided to have one and are sending a deposit so would you hold one for them; you turn away several other possible buyers while waiting for the deposit to arrive - and then five days down the line you ring them to say you haven't received anything only to be told they've changed their minds!

As I said, it's plain bad manners!
Yes, that's happened to me 3 times in 2 weeks! They visited, saw the pups, thought about it, phoned to say they were sending the deposit, then nothing!

Re: puppy time wasters

we had the same thing when we owned a restraunt.............people ordering tables [ sometimes 10 or more in party] and not turning up.............we got into the habit of phoning them at 3am and asking if they still wanted the table as we were here waiting!................might have taught a few a lesson!.......lol
never have that problem with my pups though as i always have a waiting list!
