Re: SERIOUS WARNING - Unexpected Firework displays whilst walking your dog
I like fireworks, but I do think they should only be on sale to public display organisers, and they are only alowed to be set off on one night only.
It really P's me off that any old person can go into tesco and buy a big box of fireworks. STUPID!!!!! Where we lived before, you got all the older neds going in and buying them and setting them off accross (Yes, I mean Accross, not Up) the park! But it was hilarious when I called the police who parked round the corner from the 4 lads, crept round and arrested all of them! I don't normally get involved but they were firing them along the path, and I wanted to walk that way to get to the big public bonfire on the field. They should not be sold to the general public. They are not safe! Last year someone near us had there car on fire because someone set a firework at them ![]() But- places make so much money from selling fireworks and they don't seem to care how dangerous they can be.

Re: SERIOUS WARNING - Unexpected Firework displays whilst walking your dog
I was just taking Rufus out for his night-time toilet and there were some fireworks going off. He didn't react apart from he listened for a bit but they were quite a way away and weren't visible so I don't know how he'd react if they were close to us.
Definitely going to do something to de-sensitise him (maybe get a sound effects CD that has fireworks on or something). |
