leonberger

has anyone ever heard of a german breed of dog called a leonberger?. My mothers sister has one, and as the name suggests, it comes from the german town of leonberg. Just wondering, cos I have only ever seen this one.

Re: leonberger

cor, I'm really suprised. I thought it was only like a local breed of dog. I have been to leonberg many times, but have only seen this one specific dog.

Nice one

Re: leonberger

debbie, I am so jealous. I absolutely adore these dogs, and I must confess, have not been to any dog shows. It really pleases me that these dogs are more popular than I thought
