Alan - why don't you cancel the KC insurance in favour of the one of your choice? I did with all mine after the six weeks free ran out. All ours are with MoreThan.

Well I thought I had cancelled it but I got all the stuff through today so I presume they haven't done it, now I've got the stuff I'm going to have a flick through and see why it's £24 and decide whether to keep it or not!

Definitely. Not just for vets fees (although that is the main reason) but also, in our increasingly litigious society, for 3rd party liability in case your animal causes an accident.

I pay £12 for Akita and £9 for our Chihuahua. With M&S and it's great cover.

Re: Is your dog insured?

hi

i wouldnt keep that - that really expensive.... i shopped around quite a lot for my dog insurance - the kc was one of the ,ost expensive out there - i insure with healthy pets - they offer lifetime cover - and i only pay £24 a month for BOTH of mine - they are definetly worth looking at - they only insure pets - very similar to petplan but again cheaper - for pretty much the same thing.

Re: Is your dog insured?

Thanks, think I will have a ring round on Monday to get them all on one as Milo is with Halifax, Jayjay with Kennel Club and Trinny and the Cats with Tesco. I'm just too lazy to sort it out!

Re: Is your dog insured?

I dont insure my small animals as it would cost me to much!!if i only had 2/3 i would consider it.Ive been fairly lucky, ive had a few big bills in the last 8 months £1000,but i have a good vet and they dont mind me paying it off in bits.(which is helpful)
