Bleeping nora, how do you guys get the time to walk 2 hours a day?? OH works from home, so the back door is always open during the day, and I have a horse, so hpefully one day DJ will be good enough to join us going out in the summer like my old dog, zeb.. fine in the spring/summer but in the winter zeb got up to an hour off the lead, came to the pub with us or any other outing, then a run down the driveway to the stables in front of the car... that's about all we could manage

and I thought we were doing well compared to some dogs who just get a turn around the village on the lead twice a day...

I know loads of people who don't walk their dogs at all! eek:

oh god, really??? life must be hell at home... ours bounce off the walls when it gets near walk time.... maybe they don't like their shoes enough. I LOVE my shoes so will do anything to save them from The Jaws

PMSL, unbelievably our next door neighbours (who have now moved on) had two SBT's and they never ever walked them, barely even let them out on the garden and they were brilliantly behaved. Suppose they never had a walk so never missed it, they were a bit chubby though!

Another person I know has 3 little terrier type dogs, they get walked at weekends during the summer and that's it and they are complete s**ts!

that's just not right!!!! oooo the guilt the dog across the road is a collie.. Owner lets her out of the house as exercise and she gets over the front wall onto the street. It's a small road but a rat run. I feel like nicking her and handing her into a rescue place so she gets a good home. Sounds bad BUT that dog will cause an accident one day or get killed... this woman doesn't walk her... A COLLIE!!!

That really does annoy me! I would be having words with her! Have you reported it to anyone? I'd say the RSPCA but they are more likely to eat a guitar than doing anything to help animals.

There are more people than you think who don't walk their dogs, there are also the weekend only walkers too. Some people assume a garden is enough.

Some people start out with good intentions then the novelty wears off.
