Beware Puppy Ads - Not Always what you see

Just a quick post to remind people looking for a pup - What you see isn't necessarily a true indication of the facts.

I recently visited the home of a seller of pups, advertising on this site. The pups were clearly not the pups shown in the photograph!! A quick Google search of images found them to be an image on a photography site, not their pups.....

....Duh!! Not difficult to work out (if you're reading)

These sort of breeders are simply money makers who don't have any interest in the welfare of dogs and in my opinion should be avoided at all costs.

This isn't the fault of the site, they are a victim as well....but Buyer Beware....in the interest of animal welfare....keep a healthy dose of scepticism in mind

Think this proves it was a great decision to ban the sale of animals on here.

Well done Petforum Team and those members who campaigned for it

Re: Beware Puppy Ads - Not Always what you see

I found an advert from Swansea for a Pom the woman sent me a photo of another puppy she had too which wasnt advertised. Then I saw the same puppy on the same site but the other side of england, what would of happened if I had said to both of them " can I veiw the puppy today". which one would I have gone to to see the actuall puppy. NOT ONE THERE!!!!!!!! scamming big time, so I reported them both to epupz and Pets 4 Homes and let them decide. and I messaged them to say what I had done, hence no reply and adverts were taken off.

Well done for highlighting this. We had a problem when Buster and Silas' pictures were posted on another site people were contacting us saying they had been offered them to buy for ridiculous amounts of money and they are crossbreeds.
