Hi,

Leia our 12 week old Chihuahua Yorkie X has had such a bad start in life with Giardia, Isopora and bad worms. Because of this her immune system has becme suspressed and she now has Demodex - they are trying out Adovacte instead of baths to start with has both my daughter and myself have ME and the chemicals used are not great. But the Adovacte made her really sick at the weekend and had to phone the out of hours vet and nearlly ended up taking her in but she managed to stop being sick in the evening thankfully.

So as she had Demodex she is losing her fur and we need to get her a coat or jacket as when she goes out she shivers bless her. (I wish I could knit......).

Anyone know where I can get something for her (looked on ebay and there are some).

Now decided that it really need to be a vest and harness in one (i.e. vest like with D ring). As Leia has a harness and she is fine once it is on but not keen at putting it on. So if we got a knitted jumper we would have to put that on and then the harness.

So anyideas. I have been looking but they seem really hard to find.

Pets @ Home have the small and x-small harness which I have got for mine and they are nice and comfy, but not sure where to get the vest with harness????? What if you get a nice little T-shirt for small size dogs and then put the harness on the top wont be so bulky then either. We have a shop called the Range which does alot of nice little tops for small chihuahua's. But I do go onto Ebay alot and buy from there and you dont have to pay alot for them either if no one ends up bidding on them. Hope yo find some. Do you know anyone who can knit one for you??? xxxxxxxxxxx

my mum makes personalised dog coats in beautiful faux suede colours with a lovely fleece lining? she is really cheap and allows for the harness clip if needed? she embroiders the dogs name and a disney character free of charge but the coats are really fantastic and made to measure!!! if anyone is interested i will post her link?
