Well i am bloody annoyed

Me and my partner went to see some pups and today we were told that they wouldnt be letting us have one as they are noisy and they think we would send it back within a couple of months.

Well firstly they have already told us that they have homed their pups to people they have never met before, they are sending one overseas to someone they have never met before and various other things that just dont make any sense.

We just want to be able to give a pup a loving family home, walk it, play with it, spoil it, take it on weekends away, take it to obediance and agility classes and possibly breed from it and show it.

What is so wrong with that!!!

Ok so i work 3 days a week but would have someone come in to walk it so it wouldnt be on its own all day.

What pups were you looking at? and what made them think if it was noisy you would send it back? most pups are noisy until they settle into their new homes

No offense to any one who has been turned down by a breeder for a pup, I have turned many people down in the past, because i didn't think they were suitable owners for the breed we have...
I have turned down people that I have thought not to be suitable as well - one we had wanted a golden that would complement their curtains in the conservatory and brought a sample of their curtains to hold against the pups to get the 'right' colour - needless to say they didnt get one

Re: Well i am bloody annoyed

I am completely aware that puppies are noisy, i have had dogs in the past and i used to work at a dog training club so i am aware what a puppy is like. I think their main concern was that it would rip my house apart if we left it on its own, but surely that would be my problem to deal with rather than assuming we would just give up, why would i spend hundreds on a dog to give up on it after a couple of months? I feel bad really writing this as they were a lovely couple when we met them but i am just angry cause i think they made their minds up before we left and waited till today to tell me over an email.
