Re: Frontline.

Frontline does not work on my cats. So I bought them an expensive flea collar and that worked!

Frontline is the only one that doesnt make dixie flaky it doesnt really do much for the ticks but they get a tick check every day anyway. Dixie always seems to get them on her chest.

freddies_mum is on a distinguished road
Re: Frontline.

To be honest I've only ever frontlined Freddie twice and never done Darcey. Maybe we've been lucky but neither of them have had fleas, Darcey has had a couple of ticks but they have been removed ok. As far as I know Frontline doesn't stop ticks attaching in any case, but it should kill them so they fall off in about a day.

Re: Frontline.

Have people been backing up the frontline treatment with also treating the home? If not, then they probably will see a lot of fleas on the animals before they bite and are killed.

I use Advantix too, have done for around 3 years now - was reccommended it by a vet as we live near a lot of ticks with Lyme disease. Much better than frontline, and slightly cheaper too!

Re: Frontline.

Had nothing but problems with frontline, I switched onto advantix and not seen a flea for along time.
