Re: Fun in the Fields

Thanks everyone, glad you enjoyed sharing our Virtual walk.

What you did not see was Merlin being a right little bugger and chasing a young steer just before the first pic. Ooops. Like many Border collie crosses and pure BCs, he has chase issues.... He says his gran and granddad ran after cows & sheep for a living, so why shouldn't he.

You also did not see the sudden heavy shower which came on, luckily I found a nice tree to shelter under, and hardly felt a drop but couldn't see the end of the field - it was coming down that bad!!

You also didn't notice I was wearing sandals and my feet were soaked, cold, slippery and so were my jeans legs!! It was either sandals or bigwellygumboots but I didn't have any socks.... bit of a poor excuse in Street, the shoe capital of southern England.

Colsy - we're in Somerset at the moment at my mum's, but back in Hampshire Home on Saturday I am missing my kittens sooooo much.....

Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone, but the South Downs are much more beautiful than where I am right now!
