we live in scotland with three Hungarian Vizslas.

HAGGIS - coz when he was born the sac did not break and he came out looking like a trussed up haggis.
TATTIES - well we had haggis so it was only natural
LAALIE - she already came with a name as she was a rescue dog but it is shetland dialect for 'plaything'.

if we get another pup then will have to call it NEEPS to make the set ( haggis, neeps and tatties) lol

I have Sid and Jess. Sid was a rescue and came with the name but like Reno it did make it hard to train him (Sit and Sid very similar). Jess was chosen by my children but as in the past I have had dogs called Jade and Jinny it is in line with these and I have always wanted a boxer bitch called Jodie, but still waiting for that one!

Cool names. I had a black Lab called Chester! When i was a small child, there was a dalmation in our street. He was called William. It made him seem almost human. Picture the scene.... we kids actually used to call round his house and ask if William was coming out to play. ! My current pup is called Seven. Chris

we got an ambull called zac and we named him that coz there isnt a dog around here called zac
we was going to call him simba but we thought it was a bit stpuid for a big dog

lucky name, That pup went off to live wiv a police officer

Our Huskies are caller Tikaani (wolf in Eskimo) and Keela (dark face in Eskimo)

I named mine after singers, and KC name the singers song
Lulu, Toyah, Cher, Jlo, Connie, Dion, Shania and Posh for the Chinkies and Kira GSD

i love the film, *I Am Legend* were will smith has a gsd called Samantha,,, i think that is a lovely name for a gs bitch,,,

Hi i have the same problem we are getting a black lab (girl) having major problems with names i want a good name so when your out in the park or at the beach you wont sound silly calling her.

my uncle has a mongrel called RAB C!! when we were away in the caravan, my cousin insisted on calling him Prince coz she didnt want to be heard shouting RAB C!!. hahaha

ive got a lab called Zac and a cat called Sapphy after my fave car... Sapphire cosworth lol.
