Prices!!
Right well being so excited about getting my dog, i have been looking on loads of online stores findnig leads, collars, id tags, crates, foood and water bowls etc etc
and would like to know how much money all these will be as i would like to help me mum and dad as i think they were going to buy the dog but i wanted to buy crates , beds etc so that they dont feel there paying for everything. So yeah how much do you think it will all cost and what will i need when welcoming my puppy to its new home |

Re: Prices!!
Things you'll definately want to get:
Collar Lead Tags (you can buy these from Pets At Home or you can buy them cheaply on ebay and they'll put your details on the tag too) Microchipping (this is done by your vet- however many dog charities/vets offer this at a reduced price) Bed- I'd personally buy a plastic style bed to last the puppy through the chewy stages etc. Get the size that it will need when full grown. They look like this: ![]() Blankets- I'd get a cheapish duvet or plenty of blankets to put in the plastic dog bed and make it nice and comfy. Tesco do a value duvet or you can also pick up one and lots of blankets in charity shops, pet shops, car boot etc... Puppy kong- so useful! These cost about £5 Toys- Food bowls and stand- bowls tend to cost a few quid each and same again for a stand Chews- I wouldn't get anything to additivey but stuff like rawhides and tripe sticks are good. You can pick these up from your local supermarket A good diet- depends whether you want to feed wet or dry. If wet I 100% recommend a really good food called Naturediet or NaturesMenu Naturediet | Naturediet Natures Menu Natural Dog Food & Natural Cat Food | Feeding as Nature Intended Grooming bits and bobs- slicker brushes are ok but can scratch the skin. I prefer deshedding tools especially for longer coated breeds. Harnesses/training bits- depends what you'll need. Clicker- literally like a pound or two! Training Treats- you can buy some or make your own. Frankfuter sausage is good ![]() You may want to use a crate? If you do- don't buy the cheapest one as they tend to be bad quality- someone I know's staffie pup managed to chew through a cheap crate!
