Info needed
Hi, hope some people can help. We have a 6 month old bitch who is going to stay with relatives (in a few months) They have a 15 year old dog. Our pup has not been spayed and we are still undecided whether we are going to have her done. Is there any possibility an old dog would try to mate with her?? (Which we wouldnt want)We are new pup owners so still finding things out so hope this is not a funny post! Cheers All

Another dog could only mate her if she is in season.
If she is in season when you go away then I wouldnt risk it no matter how old the male is!
