Re: sick of hearing 'you're gunna have to get rid'

No dont give up on him, if he bites you shout "OUCH" so he knows it is hurting you, My next door neighbour have a dog a bit older that yours and was advised to put some OILBOS OIL from the chemist on the area he bites and as soon as he tastes that stuff he wont bite you again, well she put some on her arm, and the bottom part of the leg of her old jeans as he was biting that aswell, also on her leg of her coffe table, and YES she may be one of the lucky ones, but he bit it and yuk....he hated the taste, he havent done it since, so she gives him plenty of raw hide chew to chew on, as he was teething but as soon as they get soft and floppy then throw them away as they can choke the dog. only a suggestion it may help, also lemon juice does the same thing, smells better as well. x xxxx

Re: sick of hearing 'you're gunna have to get rid'

We get it all of the time too

we have two beagle puppies...everyone says to us....ahhhh youl probably have to get rid of them because they will be too much work and trouble (when they havent even spoke to us before ie out on walks - so they have no idea about it)
