shaking puppy syndrome...poor little thing

Hi everyone,

was out walking the dogs this evening and some neighbours at a farm down the road came out to chat...they have 11 dogs! and most of them came out to say hello. My 2 were a little shellshocked I think Maya just lay on the ground lol....they have 8 dogs, 3 puppies, 3 goats, chickens and highland cows which have calves at the mo very sweet

They had a 9 week old puppy who she said had shaking puppy syndrome. I've never heard of it before, but he was the most adorable little soul I could have taken him home with me there and then!!! she put him on the ground and he has problems with his back legs which she said she is praying he may grow out of. He was such a sweety it was so sad to see him wobbling along bless him.

Re: shaking puppy syndrome...poor little thing

Well i hope he wasnt in pain or anything. If it was my puppy id have to get him one of those dog carts what they attach to them. so their back wheels work for their back legs.

Dont know what I'm talking about but is it some kind of nerve damage that can occur during birth which could be a temporary condition?

He really didn't seem to be, he was wagging his tail and licking and even when he was on the ground he wouldn't sit still he was off lol even with his wee wobbly legs just as well I could tell she loved him cos I'd have stole him
