|
my patio smells of dog wee etc help!!! how can i get rid of it?
I scrub it with diluted jeyes and rinse thoroughly i also use virkon inbetween cleaning with jeyes but when i open the back door the smell hits you!!!!!.

have you got any other area where your dogs can pee? then the smell has chance to dilute naturally, but if your cleaning it then the dogs are weeing on it the next day, the smell dosn't have time to clear.

i use neat bleach once a week all round my patio were the dogs go, give it a good soak in the stuff leave for half hour then scrub it all round and rinse well it does the trick for me, and in between i use diluted bleach water that i keep outsiide in a water butt just be careful not to let dogs on it straight away as there pads can get irritated

this sounds daft but believe me works a treat - try putting tomato ketchup on your dogs food. it helps to neautralise your dogs pee - so 1. less smelly and 2. doesn't make ur grass go brown.
go get heinz (especially for u designer dog owners hee hee). No seriously it DOES work.

Biological washing powder worked for me.
Jeyes fluid that comes in the trigger bottle is ok for indoor use but the stuff that comes in a tin is for outdoor use only

I use white vinegar. The dogs don't like to go back there after I have cleaned with it.
