Hi all,

We got our boxer pup on sunday, he is 8 weeks old. He is soooo sweet!! He cried the first 2 nights, the second night he kept us awake from 1am to 3am In the end I had to sit near to him in the dark, he fell asleep then I crept back to bed!
The last 2 nights he has slept through from 10pm to 7am, we havn't heard a peep out of him. I was going to set my alarm for 2am to take him out for toilet but he has slept right through with no accidents, so fingers crossed this will continue. I am watching him like a hawk throughout the day, he has had only 1 accident in the house. I keep taking him out to garden for toilet so I think he is getting the message.
He loves the kids and so far we've had no tears from his play biting!
Ive also taught him to sit and lay down with reward based training. He is very intelligent.

He sounds lovely and really settling in and good in such a short space of time. Reading your post has made me even more excited for my arrival in 2 weeks and 2 days!! Can't wait to see some pics. I love Boxers!!!

sounds really like my wee skye! got her on saturday and shes been really good since then. except today when she decided she didnt want to tell me when she needed out and just peed all over the place. but shes great through the night too!

heres hoping our pups will remain little gems!!
