All microchipped - couldn't bear the thought of not being able to be reunited with them if they were lost or (gulp) stolen

All mine are microchipped. I do all my pups before they leave too.
Microchips for dogs will be compulsory sometime in 2009 so im told.

We collect our puppy next Saturday, and he will have been tattooed, so we have no say in the matter.

However, since our ultimate aim is to move to France in a couple of years, our puppy will have to be micro chipped, since I do not think that a tattoo will suffice!

I had Toots chipped when I got her at 12 weeks but as she is so small it did hurt her last time I took her to the vets he scanned her chip and it even showed her temperature
