Thanks so much for your messages of support and feedback everyone! It encourages me to do more.

I think I will have to write a list of all the tricks he can do and make a Youtube Video of them all rather than just picking 2 or 3 at a time.

I have been blessed with an intelligent dog who loves slices of hotdogs and will do anything to get them LOL , although I must admit that this dog learns FAST! We only started doing leg weaves on Sunday, and the video was taken on Monday night! This morning he had them down perfectly!

Re: his size. LOL. Yep, he does look big, but as others said - it's all in the coat. Once he is bathed he looks more like a regular sized dog, but he will grow to be a large dog...that's for sure!

Maybe I should teach him how to type my posts for me here...that would be cool.

What tricks/commands do you think I should work on next?

EDIT: Peppa...Paddy is docked (not our choice, but just a regular thing in Ireland where he was born), although some bouvs are born with not much of a tail.

Speak, whisper encourage him to speak and then reward for barking softer, beg/sit pretty although I'm not sure how well he would be able to do that, there are way too many choices. Say your prayers is always popular as well.

Oh how cute! Well done to the two of you. My kitten was very interested in that video, she was trying to dig under the laptop to discover the culprit of the sudden sounds! Lol.

I have an Airedale and she is 5 but is still willing to be taught new things and she loves it. she has allways smiled especially when she gets in to trouble, taught her to sit up and beg 2 months ago , she looks so funny as she is a big dog.She also sings when we ask her and has such a lovley voice.

She also has tricks of her own like barking just when you least expect it and giving you a fright she is so naughty but wouldnt have her any other her way.

Might post a wee vid on you tube but will need to get my son to do it for me as I havent got a clue about stuf like that.

You should still try to go down the route of training without treats...... its a whole lot more productive to have a dog do as you say rather that have a dog do as you say because it is getting food.
Imagine you want him to stay when there is danger around - unless you constantly have a pocket full of treats everywhere you go hes not going to stay.
