why do dogs sometimes sleep with there back legs out

why do dogs sometimes sleep with there back legs streched out? Blaze does it sometimes but Pupkin its all the time. Is this a sign there hips are good?

I was told that once. Havent a clue if its true or not.

Both of mine lie and sleep like it. I assume it just feels comfortable.

the only other dog ive known do it was the one i grew up with a cross named sophie she was a lovley dog.

frogs legs is a pretty normal position for whippets but i'v been having a bedlington staying and he stretched himself out all the time and just got longer and longer lol

Most of our dogs do it constantly!!I have never heard of it being a sign of good hips, not saying its not though!

Although i tend to find my dogs do it more in hot weather
