Bulldog won't walk

Hi all

I own a 2 half year old bulldog. He has always walked ok but for the last 2 weeks he wants to stop all the time. We have tried igoring this bahaviour and praising him when he does walk but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Similar experiences?

Velour x

Red face Re: Bulldog won't walk

I saw this same problem on Ceser Milan's dog show. I am embarrassed to say I forgot how he fixed it.

Re: Bulldog won't walk

I've seen something similar too on these type of programmes.

I can't remember either, no doubt someone will come up with an answer. Could it be something to do with diet, like taking him out before a meal.

Re: Bulldog won't walk

Yep I would say a quick check up at the vets and if given the all clear encouragement with favourite toys and walks in different areas.

We will keep trying, think he is too fond of his home comforts. And apart from the laziness he is a lovely boy x
