Re: James Wellbeloved
We got Pippin from rescue last year and she came with pedigree puppy which we didnt really want her on. So gradually changed her to JWB and she has been fine on it. Poops always fine, no wind and tum is fine.
Pip is a poodle x cavalier and is 4kg, and is 19 months old.

Could be allergic to a certain ingredient, some dog food bloats a dogs stomache but doesnt have the same effect with another dog. I used to have my chihuahua on Science dry, but then they went off it, so i have them on Bakers,I leave a bowl of Bakers down all day as my chi's dont eat alot they seem to pick all through the day, alot of people dont like Bakers but myself have had no problems, in the evening I give them some butchers dog food (tin) they love it, and I have not had any problems with runny poo's farting bloat etc. Not sure if all Chihuahua's are the same though. I would check with your vet to see what he suggests. xxxxx

Re: James Wellbeloved
All dogs can vary on what food suits them, JWB did not suit my dog, terrible wind and runny poos, so now on nature diet, much better. my friend also had same problem with her lab with JWB, but i know many other people use it with no problems. maybe be an allergy to some of the ingredients. Hope you find something soon that suits your dog.

Re: James Wellbeloved
I dont think Chihuahua's are known for having bad food reactions. I got mine (chihuahua and chiweenie) on JWB coz of my whippet and they all love it.
Mind you the little'uns could eat plutonium without getting a gutache!! (still havent seen the rubber glove my little chi ate yet!!)![]() |

Re: James Wellbeloved
My Chi won't touch JWB, no matter how you try and persuade him. The picking throughout the day thing I think is very typical and mine is the same.
I hope you manage to find a food that agrees with his stomach and his palate! I wish I could find something that mine would actually happily eat without needing to be convinced. |

I also believe that AG source their meat from free range, and not intensively reared animals. |
