Re: why did your dog get its name?

Harvey - my daughter chose his name - a boy she liked had just called his pup the same

Pippa - let my son choose her name or I'd never have heard the end of it!

Re: why did your dog get its name?

Haggis ( Redfurs Wee Haggis) was named such, because wen he was born, he had a bit of trouble getting out of the birth sac, and from all accounts looked like a haggis..
Tatties (Redfurs Jimmy Connors) (was born on Wimbledon week,) And ya canny have a haggis with out a tattie can ya?
Laalie, we rescued from the Shetland Isles.
Laalie is Shetland Dialect for 'Play Thing' and by gawd she lives up to her name!

Re: why did your dog get its name?

I kinda chose Bailey's name before I went to see him. As I found it wasn't a very common name for a dog and for all my pets they have uncommon names lol.
So when we did bring him home, I told my mum and brother I wanted to call him Bailey, everyone agreed that it did fit him really because of his colour.

Smile Re: why did your dog get its name?

Lucky- so called as all of our family told my parents Lucky was very lucky for us to have took him on.
Zeus- My dad named him. He had wanted a rottie but got a Shepherd instead but still called him Zeus.
Fudge- My uncle's ex fiance named him when he belonged to them.

Re: why did your dog get its name?

Paddy - an easy name for a dog born in Ireland on the day after St Patrick's Day.

Tigger - my 11 year old cat, named by a girl who lived with me at the time. How original! LOL

Grecian - my all grey male cat, sadly now at the Rainbow Bridge. Named after the hair dye that blokes use to hide their grey hair (Grecian 2000).

Sox - Grecian's brother, but with 4 white paws. Quite an obvious one. Sadly now at the Rainbow Bridge.

Milky Bar Kit - my white and cream coloured male kitten with massive blue eyes. Sadly now at the Rainbow Bridge too.
