Re: Blue staffies discussion
If people put controversal stuff on these threads then they have to be prepared for strong opinions and debates!I myself opened up a rather heated can of worms recently and got some heavy critism, but that is what this is all about.I am still here no harm done!

Re: Blue staffies discussion
Don't let posts get to you, as you say everyone has an opinion, right wrong or indifferent.
I am the first to admit I know very little about dogs in comparison to some forum members. Occasionally I will read a thread and jump in feet first with my opinion, which may be controversial. A prime example is regarding the Irish Staff. I'll take a look at the thread tomorrow, no doubt Sallyanne will put me straight in relation to fact. ![]() If my information is out of date or I have been misinformed then I have learned something new. Each one of us feels passionate about our dogs and I love this forum because members with problems large or small have someone there to support them and advise them. I haven't been offended by any forum member yet, but there could be subjects or topics where it may happen but I doubt it. The problem with posts as has previously been said you cannot tell the tone in which it is written. I am not condoning any unnecessary personal attacks but I believe these are filtered out, as this forum is monitored. Sue |

Re: Blue staffies discussion
People being passionate about certain subjects regarding breeding, puppy prices etc etc can sometimes come across as hurtful and mean but if you know you are easily offended then dont join in that topic, people are ALWAYS going to disagree - thats life!

Re: Blue staffies discussion
Okay it just seemed like some members were attacking the original poster. I felt bad for her. I try to take most threads with a grain of salt but the one about the blue stafforshire terrier being rare, some seemed really ticked. Maybe I am reading more into it.

Re: Blue staffies discussion
Definition of a Forum: An online discussion group, where participants with common interests can exchange open messages.
If they didn't want a discussion about their activities they shouldn't have posted them on a forum! Everyone is entitled to express their opinion. |
