Dog Insurance

Ok this may have been done before, but I am new here so I do apologise. I would like to know who are a good Dog insurer. I will have Dogue de Bordeaux pup in 2 weeks time, and would like to have her insured.

I just dont know which company are the best. Some advice would be good!

Re: Dog Insurance

Shop around for your insurance, lots of people recommend Petplan but they arnt the cheapest, I use Tesco, go with one that gives you life cover not annual

Re: Dog Insurance

I'm planning on going with Pet Plan but I'm not sure if you need special insurance for showing. Need to ask the breeder when I go see pups. Would be £25 a month for life cover but I've not really shopped around because when I done that for car insurance I was getting harased with phone calls even though I said I didn't want to be contacted

Re: Dog Insurance

I've got my 2 boys and my cat insured through More Than and they have a special 24hr vet line that you can ring with any questions or queries.

Prices are quite good as well.

I used to be with pet plan but found they were charging me double per month that i could get elsewhere.

best thing to do is to shop around a bit

Re: Dog Insurance

I'm with argos, very reasonable prices but haven't had to make a claim yet!
