Dog Collars!!

Morning All

Another question for you.......

Do you keep your dogs collars on at all times??? Our puppy has a collar which she wears when she is out and if she is out in the garden. In the evening before she goes to bed I take off the collar because I don't like the idea of her in her cage on her own, and she got her paw stuck between it. I also think it is more comfortable for her not to have it round her neck while she is sleeping and we are not around. Maybe I am a little crazy like my husband said, but he thinks all dogs have collars on 24/7.

What do you guys do??

Re: Dog Collars!!

I only put my dogs collars on when we go out, the only reason being is so it doesnt leave a mark around their neck like some of them do.

Re: Dog Collars!!

aww thats horrid, our cat used to get the collar off anyway.

we only take the collars off the dogs we show, the others are just pets so we don't mind if they get a collar mark on them. Zak only has a collar on on average 4 hours a day. (for walks and training classes).

Re: Dog Collars!!

Milo has his on 24/7. If you are wanting to show her I would advise not to leave it on all the time though, limit it as much as possible.
