Re: Dog Collars!!

my dogs have their collars on all the time, they have the name tags on so if they ever escaped the garden I know they would be identified. They are only lightweight collars and if I thought for a minute it bothered them I would take them off but it doesn't seem too.

Wondering now if I'm doing the right thing if so many people don't leave them on

You're doing the right thing! If you're not going to show them then leave them on all the time like we do with Milo for safety i.e if they stray, but even lightweight ones over time can make a long term impression on the coat.

Ours have theirs on all the time as they also carry a tag for vet help and the chip tag, they are only very light nylon ones

Re: Dog Collars!!

I always have my pups collar on with tag when she is in the garden or out for a walk. When at home I just tend to take it off and always when its bed time - I just had to ask the question as hubby says all dogs have collars on all of the time and I am just fussing over her.
