Hello

Can anyone tell me if I can transfer the registration of my puppy on-line at the KC?? I got my form today from the breeder and our pup is registered in their name which I know is correct, But, I was hoping to put her in for a show next month and I beleive it takes ages for things to happen with the KC so I was hoping to do it all online, only I can't find the correct section to transfer ownership and get the 5 generation pedigree.

Any ideas or do I just have to post it off and wait.

I think you have to post it, I looked online the other day when doing Jayjays but couldn't find anything!

Dont think they have got as far as transferring ownership on the net yet and they do not take quite so long as they used to but you can still enter her at a show in your name you simply put TAF after her registered name on the entry form.

They dont do it online due to the fact that they need the signatures etc on the forms. So post it off and like Tashi has said just put TAF after the name on the entry form

I don't think you can do it on line. Check on the entry form for the show, in my sport (which is not breed), you can put all the details, KC no etc. and change of ownership applied for.

The closing date for the show is Wed 9th so thats why I was hoping to do it all on-line, but if you say its still ok to enter even though she is not registered to us, I will go ahead and just post it, and enter TAF on the show form (better get it in the post, asap)
