Re: The Kennel Club

Hi Puppy Love
I noticed that you said you'd just got the transfer papers from the owner - just checking that you know you pup has to be six months old before you can show him/her?

Re: The Kennel Club

Hi Spellweaver

We got our pup on the 6th Jan, and she will be 6months old on 3rd May, but ive only just got the registration form to transfer to my name as the breeder has had real problems with finding a name the KC would accept, it went on and on so now they have eventually sorted it out. Its not been a problem up till now but even now we can get round it.

Re: The Kennel Club

Oh is it a lot more expensive than normal?? Ive never been and Ive never entered a dog show so this will be my first - thats if I get my form in on time. If not I may do the North Devon show, not sure - this is all so new to me and some things are straight over my head, not even sure which classes I should be entering for - apart from the Puppy Class which I am sure you all do first then move on.

Re: The Kennel Club

Oh no too scary to do Paignton - Im a complete novice.

If I go for Devon County show - what classes do you think I should go for? I was only going to do the Puppy class as I don't know if I can enter anything else.

Myself, my husband and Tilly (our pup) will be going so is it £7.50 get me and Tilly in and entered for 1 class and If I want to do more than 1 class its a further £2 per class - is this correct?? Then I beleive my husband pays full entry fee. Its quite confusing when you have never done this before.
