please help!!! advice needed.

hi,

I am about to move into a narrowboat in the midlands, i work from 8 til 4.30. the boat is on a farm marina.

I would like to know how feasible it is that a German Shepherd can live happily on a boat. When i am at work the dog will have to stay in the boat on his own - this is a massive concern to me and the other concern is the living space. when i am not at work he will be able to roam the farmers land and go on walks all over the countryside so when i am not working i know he would be fine. but how would he cope being left on his own all day in a boat?

cheers for any advice guys thanks

Gar

thats a good idea, i reckon the farmer might take him out for a bit but he has 2 dogs of his own a choc lab and a super lively and lovely border collie!! so i guess it might be down to wether my dog gets on with them!! have you ever or do you own a GSD?

any other contributions much welcome
