As most of you know, I lost my old GSD just before Christmas, and despite re homing two cats from the RSPCA, there is still a big void that Zak left behind.

We have considered all options, including rescuing, but there just hasn't been the right time.

Well this afternoon, we are going to see 13 GSD puppies, and I feel like an expectant mum (yes, I am stoopid). Seriously, I cannot wait.

I will try and take some photo's, but unlike you clever lot, I cannot work out how to upload them in a thread. Yes, I am completely computer illiterate!!!

Can someone please advise.

Thanks guys. I am a little worried however, since my husband wants to return to Zak's original breeder. As you all appreciate, you cannot replace a dog, and I worry that he may be trying to replicate Zak, which is not going to happen.

He seems to be digging his heels in already!

GSD are one of my favorites at puppy/young dog stage. Those ears that stand up which look too big for them. Utterly adorable!

Definately a male. There are 7 females and 6 males. A really large litter.

Just two hours to go now

We have been trawling through all the names on an earlier thread and cannot make up our minds. Our first GSD we named Ben, and I do love that name. I don't know if we should use the same name again though!
