What is right amount of exercise for a puppy?
 What would be the right amount of exercise for a pup, when he is first allowed out please? It's been a few years since my last dog and i can't remeber hehe!

We always tell our new puppy owners to let them do as much as they want to do and limit walks to begin with to allow bones to develop dont go overboard with 'making' them play be led by them

Yeah I agree, a pup will soon let you know when its tired and had enough. Anymore than that is just unnecessarily pushing it.

The five minute rule is a good guide on how much walking a pup should have.
Five minutes for every month of the pups age. Playing in the house, garden and training will also help to tire the pup both mentally and physically.
