Re: The Health Risks of Spaying and Neutering

zeb will be done around 18months-2yrs maybe a little longer depending on his weight e.t.c

I want him to mature and grow to the best he can without being stunted in anyway

Re: The Health Risks of Spaying and Neutering

I also don't believe in routine neutering.

Yes Pyo is rare in younger bitches, however my bitch had it at 22 months and was very very poorly. She was spayed as an emergency.

What is right for one may not be right for another,I don't believe neutering should be done until the dog s mature both in body and mind.

Re: The Health Risks of Spaying and Neutering

Until the day comes when owners of ALL unspayed bitches can keep their dogs safe for the FULL term of their season (which will be a cold day in hell), then I believe 100% in routine neutering.

There are health risks either way, but imho the risk of a litter is more probable, thanks to careless owners.
