Re: walking the dogs on a hot day

Early morning and late evening as everyone else says.
Then if they are restless, I give them things to do during the day.
Use dry food in treat balls etc like this Dog Pyramid Treat Toy Dispenser
I also have a Nina Ottosson Dog Toy that I occasionally get out.
And generally just play with them and do some extra training indoors.
5 minutes of getting them to practice commands wears out their minds.

Re: walking the dogs on a hot day

6am before i go to work so no different to any other day for the morning call and much later in the evening can be as late as 8pm. It was still to warm last night and it was nearly 9 when we went. they get some exercise in the garden playing with each other, but i have to keep an eye on how long they play and chace about and call ahalt to it before they over do it.
