Has anyone been to discover dogs? I am thinking of going in November as we have a long list of breeds we like.

I was just wondering if it is any good?

It's great.
I went about 3 years ago with my son and everyone was so helpful. There is so much to see and so many people to talk to.
My son fell in love with the Schipperke's and spent about 2 hours just sat in their pen

I've seen discover dogs at Crufts. We spent most of our time there looking at all the different breeds. I love it the dogs are really friendly and the owners are really helpful, full of useful advice. We spent ages talking to a lady with a Malamute and then got grooming advice from the Tibetan Terrier owners.

I went to DD last year for the first time and it was really great. I was really unsure what what breed I wanted/would be best for us... and ended up finding out Canaan Dogs there! i would never had know abotu them if I hadn't gone!

DD is a great event we do the Pom stand there every year, for the full two days and we love it.

There is alway plenty to see and do not just dog stands but plenty of events going on too.

I look forward to seeing you there in November.

I was there last year and loved it. I got to see so many breeds I'd never even heard of even got to pet a bergamasco. I got a lot of great advice from the cairn people on Buster and it's a good place to get advice if you're thinking about getting a certain breed they will be able to give you a lot of help.

I saw the 2008 DiscoverDogs on tv not long ago. Looked a really good place.

If I haven't got a puppy by the time it's on, I may well go and have a snoop around.
