Thank you both, will be having a look at all those links. I've not come across Wiccaweys before and it's less than 2 hrs from us so not too far at all. I will definitely be getting in touch with them.

i had similar experuiences before I found my beau
we ended up tarvelling2 hours away
do what you feel is righht
i met one woman who tried to sell me a border terrier saying it was a collie

Did you try Hereford & Worcester resuce? they seem to have a lot of collies at times - well at least the number that are in our agility club would indicate they do

not being vaccinated at 7 weeks isnt unusual, in my clinic we start vaccs at 9weeks anyway.

Be careful with border collies, i have two beautiful ones but they are bred from pet stock, they are bred to be pets, bred for temperament and health.

Dont get working stock collies unless u intend to work them, they are very focused and if kept as pets can be obsessive and have associated temperament problems.

Good luck though, both my girls are sweet, loving, clever and a joy to own
