Re: Agility help
There are 2 types of tunnels solid and collapsed.
If you want to get some equipment for home I would get a pop up solid tunnel to practice. As normally when you first start they just use that one when you are learning. Weaves there are supposed to be 12, but I can't remember how far apart they are supposed to be. But again we just started with 6 to practice at home. You can get creative making your own things, such as using broom handles as weave poles or balancing them on flower pots for small starter jumps. Good things to practice are 'wait', 'go' 'right', 'left' and 'touch' is a good one so she makes sure her feet touch the contacts at the beginning and end of the contacts. |

Re: Agility help
Thanks
![]() We were at the park today and I was getting her to jump over stuff and under stuff- she knoes 'hup' for over and 'under', and teaching her 'through' to go through tunnel or my legs. There is an assault course in the park with a plank to walk along and I was getting her to 'steady' along it, starting again when she came off and rewarding her for getting to the end. Going to see if next door have any garden canes to use as weave poles x
