Re: Dog Fowling in Public Places!

Luckily 99% of the time Milo goes right into the woods to do his business and if he's on the lead he won't go at all!

If he goes on the park, a field, footpath or near a footpath I do pick it up but that barely ever happens.

I always carry poo bags with me.

When I'm walking other dogs I let them out on their own garden before we go to try and avoid them going while we are out but if they do go I'll always pick it up, unless they do Milo's trick of disappearing into the woods.

Re: Dog Fowling in Public Places!

I always carry poo bags too and I find them in every pocket, I don't always have a tissue though lol!

I noticed a guy with a bullmastiff, he didn't attempt to clean up, I just said I bet you can't get a bag big enough for that lot. It made him uncomfortable but he left it.

I get cross with my dog he always finds a pile and poos so close to it, ugh! trying to clean his up without disturbing the existing one is a right job. So called friends at work suggested I should pick up the unidentified pile too - I don't think so.

Re: Dog Fowling in Public Places!

I never carry tissues!

If someone leaves there poo i usually make a sarcastic comment about it to the OH loud enough so they can hear.

People just don't care though, I've argued with one person on the park about it and that was enough, you may as well talk to yourself so I never bothered again.

I think as dog poo can carry so many germs ect its a must to pick it up , couldnt think of anything worse than a little kid falling in it and possibly being ill . always find poo bags where i never thought i had put them . i use sented nappy bags from saisburys basics range they smell like babies and makes the walk to the bin less stomach churning lol
