Re: Very bad news

Hi,

God I feel so bad for you, what a terrible thing to have to suffer. Is there a friend that could come round and chat to you while you are so upset?

It sounds like you have done ABSOLUTELY everything in your power to settle him into your family. He probably needs someone who can give him total one to one and you aren't in the position to do that, you have your son to think about and your other pets.

Would the breeder be able to meet you half way perhaps, I think the sooner you do this the better really. Its nice to see so many on this thread giving you support. You can't put up with him biting you, its so dangerous, as he grows he will think this is acceptable, but with an owner who can cope with his needs he will be a happy dog.

Please take care of yourself.

Izzie

I cant breahte. I mean I really cant breathe for sobbing I am just typing to stay focused on something. I love him so much I am watching him and touching him but I cant do it I cant raise him. I wish I wasnt alone but I am not fit for company either. I need to stop crying like this before my son wakes up.

Re: Very bad news

TT's are not for the faint hearted, sounds like you have made the right decision and to be honest they aren't a breed I would reccomend with young children

Contact the breeder, please don't go through rescue before speaking to them first

Good luck x

Re: Very bad news

no he wont go to rescue. he will go back to them I am sure. I wouldnt let him go to a rescue anyway he cant be one of a million he needs 1 on 1 love.

I wish I could breathe.

I feel liek that horrible movie AI where I took him and loved him and made him love me then gave him up. And in the process I have alienated my son and cats and feel so horribly lonely. And now I am crying I just want to go cuddle him on bed but I cant bear it.

Re: Very bad news

Hi hun.

You must feel wretched. This is not normal puppy behaviour now and i think you need to call the breeder and give her the option to come and get the dog. Growling, snarling and biting are different to the puppy "mouthing" i think we all thought you were experiencing which is annoying but not dangerous.

Your priority is the happiness and welfare of you and your family.

Please see kittykat's threads on Cola. It will let you see you are not alone and save me having to tell my story all over again and leave me blubbering into my laptop.

Definately sooner rather than later. It took me 10 years to get over my experience.

You will feel better once you make the call.
