dalmatian spots

Hi
Just wanted to see if anyone knows how late dalmatians can develop spots? we have a dalmatian/choc lab cross who is brown with a white patch (with spots) on his tummy, I have noticed that he is going grey/white in some areas and is almost developing spots on his ears! as he is 18 months old it seems a bit late for him to develop spots??

Re: dalmatian spots

I'm sure I've heard dallys can develop spots throughout their life.. but some don't. I'm also sure one dally member on here says her dog has x amount of spots and none more have appeared so I'm not really sure! Lol Sorry!

Your dog sounds well cute

Re: dalmatian spots

thanks carol!

just thought i was going a bit mad! i'm really excited now wondering how many and where he will get more spots!

because he's choc colour people automatically see the choc lab in him but the more you look at him he is just a chunky brown dalmatian! maybe with spots he'll look more dalmatian.
