Re: Chinese Crested and Chinese Powder Puff

My friend has both powder puffs and hairless she has recenntly had ahairy hairless who she says she has to shave on the morning of a show .If she does if the day before you can feel the fluuf coming back by the morning. She also has akitas and says the cresteds boss the akitas about. They are fiesty little dogs.

They took a 12 week old pup to ringcraft once. It was inside her OH's coat William(greyhound) looked at it and it bit him on his nose. He ended up cowering behind me.

Re: Chinese Crested and Chinese Powder Puff

I love chinese cresteds, especially the hairless ones. I am looking for one at the moment

I have to admit that I never liked them, and didn't know about the puffs at all. Then I met a hairless while walking one day and fell in love. Then when I researched about them I found out about puffs too.

When I had a hairless chinese crested before everyone I know said how horrible they were, untill they met her. Now one of my friends is in love with the breed and is saving to buy one! I think that people think hairless means they will be horrible (I did) but they are fantastic dogs and really freindly (as are most dogs) and they have so much energy, but also love a good cuddle!

I can't wait untill I get another!

Yes they do get cold lol, The hairless have jumpers for very cold days better clothes than me lol..
The puffs cant wear jumpers/t-shirts as it ruins there coat..!
They love the hot weather though and the lighter coloured ones have to have sun cream lol.
